 Patricia Alférez Named Interim Superintendent
Patrica Alférez has been asked to assume the responsibilities of Superintendent of Bankruptcy. The announcement was made on September 29th 2011 by Marie-Josée Thivierge, Assistant Deputy Minister of Small Business, Tourism and Marketplace Services Sector in Industry Canada.
Patricia previously served as Interim Superintendent of Bankruptcy in 2008. She is well known to CAIRP as we have worked closely with her in all the major policy discussions affecting the insolvency and restructuring community over the past decade.
During discussions with the Chair of CAIRP, Patricia has assured her that the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy will continue all ongoing projects and initiatives.
